“I don’t like writing… I prefer being fully digital…”
That didn’t last long.
One morning in Tennessee while visiting with Sebastien (our mentor), I saw him writing in a little book.
“Is that a diary?!” I asked.
“No, it’s a bullet journal” he said, and said he doesn’t know what he’d do without it…
He went on to explain how it helps him stay focused, intentional, and present.
“Wow! Interesting! But I don’t think I could ever do that… I like to keep things digital and online.“
Although I dismissed the idea of using pen and paper to manage my life and my business, I was INTRIGUED.
Long story short – Kelly got a bullet journal a few days later, then got another one as a gift from Sebastien 2 weeks later…
And what was she going to do with the extra journal?
Yes, she gave it to me.
I’ve been using a bullet journal for a year and a half now, and honestly…
I’d be lost without it!
It helps me stay laser-focused and hyper-intentional.
I get SO much more done, in way less time.
Things are far more structured and organized.
And it’s been an absolute game changer for helping me be PRESENT, while seeing my story being written in real time.
The lesson? Sometimes you just gotta be open to new ideas…
If you don’t, you never know what you could be missing.
