How to Actually get Paid Coaching Clients

... NO business / Sales Experience Required

Stop Chasing Clients – 5 Principles For Attracting Your Dream Clients

Nobody likes to be chased.

I’m sure you’d agree with this.

Yet there are so many coaches and experts out there who do this

… I was one of them

I’ll be honest.

When you’re a startup coach/expert, hustling to get your business off the ground (while also trying to stay financially stable)

It’s hard not to see your clients as prey that you need to hunt down (don’t judge me haha, I didn’t know any better at the time).

Desperation can lead you to doing crazy things, like:

Serving clients, you shouldn’t be serving

Saying yes, when you should be saying no

Chasing clients, instead of choosing clients

Overthinking, when you should be trusting yourselftrusting the process, and implementing

Any of this sounding familiar?

There’s a better way.

Don’t chase money, create value.

… money will follow.

How? It all starts with your people

5 Principles for Attracting Your Dream Clients

#1. Empathy

Always remember, “people don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care” (Theodore Roosevelt)

How are you showing empathy in your communication with your audience?

#2. Connection

Communication and leadership expert, John Maxwell, wrote a book with the title:

“Everyone communicates, few connect”

It’s true. And it’s the connectors who attract people to them.

Are you merely communicating, or are you building meaningful connections with your audience? How can you tell?

#3. Problem-solving

If you’re not solving problems, you’re not creating value.

If you’re not creating value, you’re not building a business

… and you’ll never attract clients

How tuned-in are you to your audience’s problems?

#4. Experience

Seth Godin once said that your brand, is the story people tell when they speak about you.

If the experience with you is memorable, they’ll speak about it.

If not, they won’t (and means you don’t have a strong brand)

What experience are you providing? What are your people saying about it?

I challenge you.

Start applying (more of) these principles in your coaching business right now.

And before you know it, you’ll have have your dream clients knocking at your door (and you’ll never feel like you need to do chasing to get paid clients)
